Eyad Mizian, P.E., Esq.

Eyad is a registered professional engineer with Bachelor's and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering and a Juris Doctorate in Law. With over 30 years of experience in the infrastructure industry, Eyad is the WSSC Water Chief Engineer and a lead subject matter expert in all engineering and construction matters, including strategic planning, policymaking and public contracting. He directs and manages the WSSC Water Engineering & Construction Department, which includes more than 450 team members in the following eight divisions: Asset Management, Planning, Engineering & Environmental Services, Facility Design & Construction, Pipeline Design, Pipeline Construction, Regulatory Services and Development Services Division.

Eyad prides himself on being a team builder, empowering engineering operations teams to provide high-quality water and wastewater services while serving our communities and protecting the environment. In his leadership positions with private consulting companies and government agencies, Eyad led engineering teams delivering professional services in planning, design, program management, and construction management of horizontal and vertical infrastructure projects and complex capital improvement programs.

Being the oldest of eight siblings, Eyad prioritizes family ties and relationships with friends and industry colleagues through involvement in community events and engineering professional organizations.
