Laurel, Maryland – February 10, 2011: Mason Tillman Associates, Ltd. will discuss the Disparity Study conducted on behalf of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) at community meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at the WSSC headquarters, 14501 Sweitzer Lane, in Laurel. The Study examined WSSC’s record in awarding contracts to women-owned and minority-owned prime contractors and subcontractors for fiscal years 2004 through 2009. The Study is required to provide the Commission with a factual predicate for a long-term MBE Program. The current interim MBE Program expires April 30, 2011.

Deadline for speaker registration is Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Pre-registered speakers will be called first. A written statement may be submitted for inclusion in the record.
