WSSC's GIS Vision Statement
Pioneer the use of GIS Technology to enhance viewing and analysis of
WSSC enterprise data to support strategic business goals.
WERI Introduction
Welcome to WSSC's Engineering Records/Information (WERI), a browser-based application providing you with the following options:
- to view and query water and sewer inventory, property, and other pertinent information for mapping.
- to view data across 200' sheet boundaries (such as at the intersection of four sheets) and access scanned versions of our engineering documents (i.e. plans, finals, house connections, 200' sheets, valve cards).
- to access displayed information about the water and sewer inventory, e.g. contract number, pipe material, valve number, etc.
- to utilize component id's of selected features displayed to the right of the view screen.
- to access a number of options for searching data, including: 200' sheet number; the ADC county, page and grid reference; and the street address.
Due to current security considerations, anyone requesting
engineering records/information must submit an electronic
application form and personally appear at our One-Stop
Shop to sign the application and provide a current, valid
driver’s license. Once the applicant's identity has been
verified, WSSC will perform a security check with the
information supplied on the application. The applicant is
typically notified of the results within one business week,
and upon approval, will receive an email providing the
username and temporary password along with instructions on
how to access the WERI application.
Once approved, you will receive an email with your username and
temporary password along with instructions on how to access our
application.
