Tree lovers are invited to join Jim Benton, the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission Watershed Manager and members of the Howard County Master Gardeners on a tour to identify trees indigenous to this region.
The tour will take place on WSSC watershed property near the Pigtail Recreation Area that is normally restricted for public use. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., those who wish can join WSSC in pulling invasive weeds from a recent planting in the nearby area.
