New Officers Elected to Customer Advisory Board

LAUREL (June 11, 2009): The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission’s (WSSC) Customer Advisory Board (CAB) recently elected a chair and vice chair to a new three-year term.
Albert Nunez, a renewable energy expert, was re-elected to a second term as chairman. Vince Berg, a consulting environmental engineer, was elected as vice chair.
The CAB provides input to WSSC on customer policies such as environmental education, metering, watershed regulations and other issues. The CAB meets once a month, except in July and August.
The CAB currently has 16 members who are customers residing in Prince George’s or Montgomery County and who are not employed by WSSC or a WSSC contractor. If you have any questions about joining the CAB, call 301-206-8233 or email kknox@wsscwater.com
