Environmental Advisory Committee
To The
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission

PURPOSE

To create a committee of residents of Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties to be known as the Environmental Advisory Committee (EAC) to the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission.

The EAC is established to:

• advise the Commission on local community and environmental issues associated with proposed projects,
• sensitize the Commission, during the planning of projects, concerning community and environmental impacts, and
• enable the Commission to better plan and design projects that avoid or minimize community and environmental impacts.

WSSC EAC Meetings

Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the WSSC Training Center Room 6109, located at 14501 Sweitzer Lane in Laurel, Maryland. In November and December, however, the meetings will be held on the second Thursday.
