WSSC's Drinking Water and
the 2012 Water Quality Report
Hear from Patuxent Plant Superintendent Bob Trimble about how your WSSC drinking water is made. We issue a Water Quality Report each year to help our customers better understand how their water is made, what is in the water and whether we have had any water quality violations. WSSC is proud of the fact that our water has always met or done better than federal standards.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requires the Consumer Confidence Reports (CCR, also known as Water Quality Report) be distributed by July 1 each year for the previous year.
For the first time in 2012, WSSC is electronically distributing its Water Quality Report.
In addition to electronic distribution, the Commission is happy to provide paper copies to customers upon request. Please call 301-206-8100.
