Doing Business with Us

"We buy everything from paper clips to pipe!"

Centralized Bidder RegistrationThe first step to doing business with the WSSC is to become a registered vendor in our Centralized Bidder Registration (CBR) System .

The SLMBE Office actively and effectively supports WSSC’s Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Program and Small Local Business Enterprise Program.  Our Office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for appointments and walk-in assistance

The MBE Program is designed to promote greater availability, capacity development and contract participation by MBE firms on WSSC contracts.  Although WSSC is not a Certifying agency, we currently recognize MBE Certifications from: The Maryland Department of Transportation) (MDOT), Prince George’s County Minority Business Development Division (PGMBDD), Maryland/District of Columbia Minority Supplier Development Council (MD/DC MSDC) ,  Women Presidents’ Educational Organization (WPEO) and District of Columbia’s Small and Local Business Development (DC/DSLBD).  If your firm has one or more of the above mentioned Certifications, your firm qualifies for WSSC’s MBE Program.

The SLBE Program is our signature program and is race/gender neutral. This program supports firms located in Prince George’s County and Montgomery County, in the State of Maryland.  Firms wishing to participate in the SLBE Program must complete an SLBE Registration Application.  You can find more information about the MBE Program and SLBE Program on the SLMBE MBE/SLBE Program page.

If you have questions about the MBE or SLBE programs or wish to make an appointment to speak with a staff member, please contact our Office at 301-206-8800 or e-mail our office at slmbe@wsscwater.com.
