PERMITS ACQUIRED & PREPARE FOR BID

The Project Manager will apply and obtain permits from other agencies which are required for the construction project. (Please note: this stage, depending on the permit, such as Wetlands, could possibly take as long as 1 year to acquire.)
Once all conditions have been met and all permits are acquired, a bid information package is prepared and forwarded to the Technical Services Group. They will review package information, estimate the final construction cost and quantities and write up construction specifications for the project. A pre-bid meeting will be held and if everything approved, the project is forwarded and scheduled for bid.
